Specialist Second Opinions
Get your case reviewed by a board-certified specialist, without a referral or a months-long wait. We arrange an expert second opinion, usually within a couple of days.
How It Works
This is a records-based case review, not an in-person specialist visit. You don’t travel to or wait to be seen by the specialist. Instead, Dr. Mui packages your history, records, labs, and imaging, and sends them to a board-certified specialist in the right field, who reviews your case and provides a written second opinion, usually within a couple of days.
Dr. Mui then goes over that opinion with you and folds it into your plan, so you get specialist-level insight while your care stays coordinated in one place.
- Bring your question. At a visit, we talk through the diagnosis or decision you’d like a second opinion on.
- We compile your case. Your history, records, labs, and imaging are gathered into one package.
- A specialist reviews it. A board-certified specialist reviews your case and returns a written second opinion, usually within a couple of days.
- We review it together. Dr. Mui walks you through the findings and what they mean for your next steps.
A specialist case review is $150.
